Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Jalandhar Cantt. affiliated to CBSE New Delhi is situated on the main road opposite Topkhana Bazar. It was established in 1976.The newly constructed building was formally  inaugurated on  27-7-02 by Major General Arun Pathak  Chief of Staff, 11 Corps. The institute is coming up beautifully in a sprawling area of 11 acres with efforts to provide modern facilities to the young learners and setting standards for all others to follow in the harmonious development of personality of the students   by offering pollution free natural environment with its large campus, well maintained play grounds and especially children park for primary section. The institute is under defence sector and is upto class XII .Every class has 3 sections except XI & XII which have two sections each.
